We made some significant improvements in 2016; the ‘Bypass’ valve conserves the Di-resin life even longer, the canister still has the ‘Pressure relief’ valve and we added 50 feet of ‘X-panding’ hose for your washing and spraying mobility. We also upgraded the spray nozzle to a 9 setting ‘Soap gun’ so you can wash without a bucket and use heavier rinse settings like ‘Fan’ or ‘Flat’ for the final rinse. This product is better and even more cost effective than the competition because you can ‘Bypass’ the filter for the entire wash process, the initial ‘wetting, the soaping, the washing and the first ‘unfiltered’ rinse, this saves the filtered water for just the ‘Final’ rinse. The canister and filter cartridge are still clear so you can still see the color changes in the resin and know when the refillable cartridge needs to be recharged, this visual method eliminates the need for any ‘TDS/PPM tester’. This does more than the water softeners, you see advertised for car washing, this actually removes the impurities in your water. The ‘Di-resin’ removes the TDS -Total Dissolved Solids using a ‘+- Charged Ion-exchange’ process. Unlike several of our competitors filter there is a 20 micron sediment filter built into the filter cartridge, the ‘White’ you see at the top, it removes rust, sediment and calcium particles that come from your water pipes and cause ‘micro-scratches’, or ‘swirl marks’ in your paint. Why other models don’t have this I don’t understand? Our goal is to provide a simpler more cost effective alternative to the overpriced products on the market today; we figure the guy who washes his own car might enjoy spending the money he saved driving his girlfriend to dinner in his beautiful car! 2 Piece Wrought Iron Yard Hanger: $25
This is a custom fabricated yard hanger, 2 piece powder coated wrought iron with an ‘h’ foot you ‘step on’ and sharpened spikes to help penetrate the ground.
There was a simplicity to the ‘Mr. Clean’ system being an all inclusive wash system and we want to continue that tradition; this is cheaper to operate than the competition and will provide the same quality water. The filter has been tested and provides over 250 gallons of purified water before the resin expires but this does depend on your local water quality. The reusable filter cartridge can be recharged with the $20 resin packs listed here. This model is best suited for ‘Municipal’ water with TDS (Total Dissolved Solids ) or PPM levels <110ppm; if you have ‘Well water’ or municipal water with high TDS/PPM >110ppm you will need our 2 Canister model.
We added the strap handle for your carrying convenience and a ‘Bypass’ capability that lets you use unfiltered water for wetting and washing while preserving the filtered water for the ‘Final’ rinse. This close-up also shows the 2 stage filter, to the right, filled with the Green Di-resin just under the white 20 micron sediment filter. The hose also has a valve, this is good for when you initially stretch the hose; also this is a screw on hose, the quick release hoses that we tested ‘Popped’ off under pressure.
This picture shows the canister bottom, with a a custom fit Vinyl Cap that has been added to reduce the chance of chipping that can occur with normal use, but this will not prevent the cracking or bursting of the canister if dropped while under pressure. Please; Do Not Drop From Any Height!!
